The children’s house investigates the role that architecture could have along the way will end malnutrition.

Over our research, we concluded that architecture could produce responses through several fields: education, social cohesion, and quality of the living environment. Thus the project has been conceived starting from these spheres with the pursuit to generate an impact on the broader scale as. With the intention to formulate a critical response to malnutrition, we think of a systemic design that is composed of several modules corresponding to the functions required by the program as well as other components that contribute to developing a critical response.

The modularity of the project imposed to imagine it as a process able to be replicated in similar contexts and as well independently by inhabitants of the area through its participatory process. The spectrum of modules generates the abacus, which is composed of natural and anthropological components.

The Project intends to configure the architecture process in a path that connects education, social cohesion, and quality of the living environment in the fight against malnutrition.
